I am a Visual  Artist. I was born in Tehran,Iran and live in USA. I got my second degree in studio art from Austin Peay State University, APSU. As a Persian I'm highly influanced by my native culture and intreasted in ceramics, monoprint and painting. I integrate generously Persian elements such as forms, calligraphy, patterns, motifs, colors and symbols into my works.

Merging my rich, ancient culture and tradition with modernity and abstraction give me a pleasant challenge. Clay unveils my inner spirit. It also manifests the contrasting aspects of my character. For instance, clay is soft and strong, flexible and hard, stubborn and formable. These contradictions create beautiful and complex forms that feed my soul.
